Hookah Fans for Food (HFfF) along with Steve Trickle, ekoostik hookah, their fans, and the artist Steve O., are thrilled to present the enclosed checks to the Licking County Humane Society (LCHS) as the beneficiary of Hookahville XXIX.

The enclosed checks include proceeds from a painting that was done on stage during ekoostik hookah’s performance by the artist Steve O. who then kindly donated his creation to HFfF. The painting was then auctioned off on EBay and sold for $1000 plus $30 shipping fees. HFfF received $1002.73 from this sale as a result of 2.9% PayPal fees charged. The buyer does not wish to have the painting shipped so HFfF will refund the buyer $29 ($30 minus the 2.9% transaction fee), leaving the remaining sum of $973.73 to donate to LCHS.

The remaining funds included in the enclosed checks are donations collected from ekoostik hookah fans at Hookahville; the amount donated from this is $707. The total amount of the enclosed checks is the sum of the above mentioned totals minus postal fees.

HFfF, a fan-based not-for-profit, is happy to have the LCHS as one of their friends and to support one of their favorite causes, those that cannot help themselves, the animals. It was a pleasure having your organization represented on-site in support of the fundraiser, thank you; it was great having you by our sides. We hope this money helps you in your efforts to help the animals in your community and, we wish your organization continued success and good fortune during these hard economic times.
