Hookahville Spring 2003

Friday - May 23, 2003 - 1:30 PM

ParticleParticle's adventures began in October of 2000 with their first performance on a San Francisco Bay late-night boat party. Audiences were instantly attracted to the group's original sound and engaging stage presence. Particle's dynamic sound consists of Eric Gould on bass, Steve Molitz on keyboards, Darren Pujalet on drums, and Charlie Hitchcock on guitar. Each player comes from a different musical background, and the combination of these diverse elements allows the group to dive into a number of different stylistic genres. The result is a trademark mix of funk, groove, and electronica - although audiences also welcome the incorporation of jazz, rock, hip-hop, world beat, and Latin rhythms.
